Location
The "Al Campiello" boarding house is situated in a very strategic position in the heart of Venice: between the Rialto Bridge and the Ca' d'Oro Museum, right in the historic center, a stone's throw from Campo Santi Apostoli, where in the church of the same name you can admire the paintings of Gian Battista Tiepolo.
This Venice boarding house is located in the picturesque Calle de la Posta di Fiorenza, from where you can quickly reach both the splendid St. Mark's Square and the railway station and Piazzale Roma. HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
From Piazzale Roma and the Station:
To reach "Al Campiello" you can take the vaporetto n° 1 and get off at the Ca' d'Oro. From the Ca' d'Oro landing stage take the alley in front, turn right and continue for about 200 meters. On your right you will find the bridge of the Santi Apostoli: cross this and turn left at the "Al Vagon" restaurant. A few meters on, in the Campiello Selvatico, you will see the "Al Vagon" Hotel: here our staff will be waiting for you to accompany you to the room you have chosen.
From Treviso airport:
You can take a regular ATVO coach for Venice and from Piazzale Roma take vaporetto n° 1. Get off at Ca' d'Oro and go down the narrow street in front of you, turn right and continue for about 200 meters. On your right you will find the bridge of the Santi Apostoli: go past this and turn left. You will come to the "Al Vagon" restaurant, then a few meters on, in the Campiello Selvatico, you will see the "Al Vagon" Hotel: here our staff will be waiting for you to accompany you to the room you have chosen.
From "Marco Polo" Airport in Venice:
To reach "Al Campiello" from the airport you have several possibilities:
By the "Venice Air Terminal" bus which will take you to Piazzale Roma. From Piazzale Roma take the vaporetto n° 1, get of at Ca' d'Oro and go down the narrow street in front, turn right and continue for about 200 meters. On your right you will find the bridge of the Santi Apostoli: cross this and turn left where you will find the "Al Vagon" restaurant. A few meters on, in the Campiello Selvatico, you will see the "Al Vagon" Hotel: here our staff will be waiting for you to accompany you to the room you have chosen.
By the "Alilaguna" motorboat which will take you to the Fondamenta Nuove. From here you can easily reach Campo Santi Apostoli in about 7 minutes. Go along the "Fondamenta" on your right for about 100 meters as far as the cross roads with Salizada dei Spechieri. Take this narrow street and go straight on, crossing the Campo dei Gesuiti and two bridges until you get to Rio Terrà Santi Apostoli. At the end of the narrow street, on the right you will find the Campo Santi Apostoli. Once you get to this square, go past the bridge, turn left and you will find the "Al Vagon" restaurant, then a few meters on, in the Campiello Selvatico, you will see the "Al Vagon" Hotel: here our staff will be waiting for you to accompany you to the room you have chosen.
By private water taxi which will bring you directly to the "Al Vagon" Hotel where you will find our staff will wait to accompany you to the room you have chosen.
